TERMS OF SERVICE

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of www.sentrysummit.com (the "Site"). "Sentry Summit" is an event brand operated by Third Rail Experience Group LLC ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using the Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.

These Terms apply to general use of the Site. If you register for, sponsor, exhibit at, or speak at a Sentry Summit event (the "Event"), that registration is also governed by our separate Event Registration Terms, which take precedence over these Terms for Event-specific matters (e.g., refunds, cancellations, and on-site conduct).

 

1. Eligibility

The Site is intended for business professionals and is not directed to individuals under the age of 16. By using the Site, you represent that you are at least 16 years old and have the authority to enter into these Terms, including on behalf of any company you represent.

 

2. Use of the Site

You may use the Site only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:

  • Use the Site in any way that violates applicable law or regulation

  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Site, our servers, or any connected systems

  • Interfere with or disrupt the Site's functionality, including through malware, bots, or excessive automated requests

  • Scrape, harvest, or collect data from the Site (including attendee, speaker, or sponsor information) without our express written consent

  • Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity

  • Use the Site to transmit unsolicited advertising, spam, or other unauthorized commercial communications

  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of any software on the Site

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Site at our discretion, without notice, for conduct we believe violates these Terms or is otherwise harmful to Sentry Summit, attendees, or the public.

 

3. Intellectual Property

3.1 Our Content

All content on the Site — including text, graphics, logos, the Sentry Summit name and marks, session titles, agendas, and design elements — is owned by Sentry Summit or our licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. Except as expressly permitted, you may not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from Site content without our prior written consent.

3.2 Limited License

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Site for its intended purpose (learning about and registering for our Events). This license does not include any resale or commercial use of the Site or its contents.

3.3 Trademarks

"Sentry Summit" and associated logos are trademarks of Third Rail Experience Group LLC. Other trademarks appearing on the Site (e.g., sponsor or partner logos) belong to their respective owners.

3.4 User Submissions

If you submit content to the Site (e.g., speaker applications, contact form messages, testimonials), you grant Sentry Summit a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, and display that content in connection with operating and promoting the Site and Events. You represent that you have the right to submit such content.

 

4. Third-Party Links and Content

The Site may contain links to third-party websites, sponsor pages, or services not operated by Sentry Summit. We do not control and are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or terms of any third-party site. Inclusion of a link does not imply endorsement.

 

5. Disclaimers

THE SITE AND ALL CONTENT ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, OR ACCURACY. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SITE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE, OR THAT ANY EVENT AGENDA, SPEAKER LINEUP, OR CONTENT DESCRIBED ON THE SITE WILL REMAIN UNCHANGED.

 

6. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SENTRY SUMMIT AND ITS OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND AFFILIATES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SITE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM THESE TERMS OR YOUR USE OF THE SITE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO SENTRY SUMMIT IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR (B) ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS ($100).

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages, so some of the above limitations may not apply to you.

 

7. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Sentry Summit and its officers, employees, and affiliates from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the Site, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party.

 

8. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms at any time by posting an updated version on the Site. Continued use of the Site after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. We encourage you to review this page periodically.

 

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Site at any time, with or without cause or notice. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (including Sections 3, 5, 6, 7, and 8) will survive.

 

10. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect, and the unenforceable provision will be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable.

 

11. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and (where applicable) our Event Registration Terms, constitute the entire agreement between you and Sentry Summit regarding use of the Site, superseding any prior agreements.
